NEWARK, Del. -

New Castle County detectives say they have arrested 32-year-old Edward Kornegay, of Chester, Pa., and charged him with offenses related to a sexual relationship he had with a 17-year-old male he met over the Internet.

Officials tell FOX 29 they responded to a call to a Newark community for a suspicious vehicle.  When they arrived a vehicle stop was performed and the officers came in contact with Kornegay and the juvenile victim.

The investigation revealed that the two met through an advertisement on Craigslist and they had sexual relations on at least two occasions.

Kornegay was charged with two counts of rape in the fourth degree. After arraignment he was released on $40,000 unsecured bail.
