Travis County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man after they say he attacked, drugged and raped a woman.
According to Police, Gary Shane Clakley went to the victim's residence to vent about a dispute between him and his girlfriend. The victim, who was a friend, asked Clakley to leave because of his anger.
Clakley grabbed the victim in a rage and drug her outside her home. He pulled a syringe from his pocket and injected her with a substance in her hand and on her forearm. Then he sexually assaulted her.
Investigators believe Clakley injected the victim with Methamphetamine intending to poison her.
Gary Shane Clakley has been charged aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, a second degree felony.
