It was a good night for some kids over at Camp Mabry. The Marines were handing out toys for the tots.
Camp Mabry is one of many distribution centers for the Marine program that collects donated toys for children.
Thursday was for families at the camp and civilian families who work at the camp and also families from Hays, Blanco, Travis and Williamson counties.
"Today they're getting toys for the family kids ages 0-14 and also a Christmas meal, a turkey dinner with pies, bread and milk...so they'll be able to enjoy the holiday," Sgt. George Garcia said
The Marine Corps has been operating the Toys for Tots program since 1947.
