If you're still looking for a gift for the person who truly has everything, then pay close attention!
On Thursday morning, Kristen Lewis Waldron, director of education at the Philadelphia Zoo, visited to tell us how we can adopt a zoo animal as a last-minute gift.
Talk about fun and unusual!
Joining her were Bo, the green-winged macaw, Ming-Ming, an Asian-crested duck, and Spot, a Pueblan milksnake.
Adopting a zoo animal costs $50 to $150 per person, and the adopter gets to go where only zookeepers go. For more information, visit www.philadelphiazoo.org.
