Police Want To Know Who Killed Woodbury Woman

Posted: Updated:
WOODBURY, N.J. -

It seems everyone who lived in the Woodbury Court Apartments knew 54-year-old Romona Johnstone.

Police say Johnstone was found stabbed to death inside her apartment on the 200 block of South Broad Street Monday night.

Investigators are now searching for answers in connection to her death.

Tasia Young, a neighbor of Johnstone, says she was one of the last people to see her alive.

Around 8:30 p.m. Monday night, Young says Johnstone knocked on her door panicked.

Residents say this isn't the first incident at the apartment complex. Longtime residents tell FOX 29 there were surveillance cameras installed.

Gloucester County prosecutors say one of Johnstone's friends was stabbed to death nearly six years ago and Johnstone was the primary witness.

According to investigators, the killer lived just a few doors down. Prosecutors don't believe the stabbings are related.
