A man who fled his jury trial in Caldwell County was captured
Thursday morning.
Authorities arrested 22-year-old Pedro Javier Quintero at a
residence located in the 400 block of Heimer Road in north San Antonio.
Quintero was on trial
for his role in a 2009 aggravated sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in Hays
County. The trail continued with his absence resulting in a guilty verdict and
a 48-year state prison term.
Quintero is set to be transferred to the Caldwell County
Sheriff's Office.
