ACC donates 1,000 books to Brown Santa

On Wednesday the Travis County Sheriff's Office Brown Santa program received a donation of 1,000 books.

Austin Community College's Silver Star Children's Literacy Project and ACC district police were responsible for the gifts.

Students at ACC's center for student political studies created the Silver Star project in 2010.

Brown Santa program helps out needy families in unincorporated areas of Travis County during the holiday season.
