On Wednesday a jury convicted Jose Aviles of capital murder for killing his daughter's lesbian lover ant that woman's mother in April.
Prosecutors said that on April 19 Aviles murdered 24-year-old Norma Hurtado and her mother 45-year-old Maria. Norma Hurtado was dating the 17-year-old daughter of Aviles at the time.
Because he was found guilty of capital murder, Aviles will automatically be sentenced to life without parole.
