Austin Police are looking for a stabbing suspect they consider dangerous and on the run.
According to police, the suspect stabbed a man several times Tuesday morning in North Austin on Martin Court.
Police responded to a stabbing call in the 9400 block of Martin Court just after 11:00 a.m. The victim was stabbed several times and taken to the hospital. Initially the injuries were life-threatening but his status was upgraded, and doctors say the injuries are non-life threatening.
Investigators are not sure what caused the stabbing.
The suspect is a black man in his 20's who was last seen wearing a red sweater and gray pants. Investigators believe they know who the man is but have not arrested him yet.
