Man dies after crashing into Prescott Valley canyon

A 60-year-old man died after crashing into a canyon on Sunday morning.

Police say Frank Heischman's car went airborne for more than 100 feet before crashing into a canyon off SR 69. He died in the crash.

Witnesses told police they saw Heischman driving very fast before his car veered off the roadway.

There were no skid marks found at the scene and investigators say they don't know why his car left the road.
