A big event taking place this weekend is the 12th annual Tamale Festival in downtown Phoenix happening at Washington and 4th Avenue.
Tamales are a big part of the holidays in Hispanic culture and a big part of Arizona culture.
But we actually found someone in our own newsroom who's lived in Arizona for many years and has never eaten a tamale -- FOX 10 photographer Corey Goodwin. He went to Food City in Chandler to get some personal tamale training.
