A Caldwell County woman is facing felony charges in Austin, for allegedly stalking her ex-boyfriend and running his mom over with her car.

Austin Police say 22-year-old Elizabeth Segundo McClain began stalking 25-year-old Ryan Boyd in September after he broke off their relationship. According to court paperwork the two dated for about three years.

Boyd filed a police report in September after McClain began calling 20 to 100 times a day.

On October 11, he filed another report claiming she threatened to break into his house and to drive her car through his living room. He told police that after blocking her number she continued to call from private and blocked numbers and on one day she called over 750 times.

He also told police that she got a new number and would call from her new number, as well as the old number. Boyd said that she also harassed him by calling his business number and sending blank text messages to that number every day.

After receiving 126 texts in a row and seeing McClain drive by his house multiple times, Boyd filed a third police report on November 11. He also told police that McClain told him that she was going to do something "bad" to his family. She threatened to drive her vehicle through his living room. She questioned where Boyd had been when he arrived at his home, as if she had been watching him. He called police but when they arrived they were unable to locate McClain.

A few days later, McClain called Boyd asking about his car. He discovered that his gas tank had been filled with sugar.

According to court paperwork, McClain continued to harass Boyd until Nov. 26. On that day, Boyd said he received a text from McClain asking about the broke down car parked outside his home. The car belonged to his mother's boyfriend.

McClain threatened mess with the car. Boyd's mother notified police and as she was waiting for their arrival McClain pulled up.

She told McClain to leave and stepped behind her vehicle to get her license plate number. Police say that is when McClain jumped in her car and backed over Boyd's mother, dragging her under the vehicle. She suffered non-life threatening injuries. McClain left the scene.

McClain is charged with stalking, a third degree felony and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second degree felony.
