A wake and public viewing for former boxer Hector "Macho" Camacho was held Friday in Manhattan.

It was held at St. Cecilia's Church at 206 E. 106th Street.

There was a small procession before the public viewing.

The pride of Bayamon, Puerto Rick was a world champion three times during his professional career that included beating Roberto Duran and knocking out Sugar Ray Leonard.

A funeral Mass was set for 9 a.m. on Saturday at Saint Cecilia.  A burial was planed at St. Raymonds Cemetery.
