A SWAT situation in south Austin has come to an end without incident. The suspect was taken into custody by authorities.
Austin Police responded to the situation on Hindon Ln, between William Cannon and Slaughter, west of I-35, at around 3:00 a.m. Monday morning.
According to authorities, the situation started off as a report of shots fired. The suspect allegedly fired a gun at a woman, and then barricaded himself inside a home. The woman was able to get away and call 911. It is unclear of the relationship between the suspect and the woman at this time.
Authorities say that no one was injured.
