Black Friday leads to violence around the country

Posted: Updated:

It's a knock-down drag out fight to the check-out line. Black Friday shopping has become a full contact sport. This year proved to be just as crazy as the last.

At 8 p.m. Thanksgiving night shoppers rushed into stores across the country.

Round one: Houston. In a YouTube clip posted by Jonathan Bord, A man punches a shopper over a kid's convertible car.

Round two: Georgia. Another YouTube video shows Wal-Mart customers going wild pushing each other to get to what appears to be electronics. As one lady makes her way out of the crowd, a man tries to pull the box out of her hands.

In San Antonio, police say a man pulled a gun on a shopper who cut in front of him as he waited outside of a Sears store.

In Massachusetts, police say a man went to K-mart to pick up a 51 inch flat screen TV, but left his girlfriend's two year old son behind. He told officers that he thought he left the child inside the store and caught a ride home with a friend. Turns out police found the child still inside his car. Officers had to break into the vehicle to get the toddler out.

A Kentucky mom was arrested after leaving her kids in a car while she went into Target.

Not all shopping experiences were terrible during Black Friday. In Indiana a man popped the question to his girlfriend. She said yes.
