Arrest in Thanksgiving murder

Police in upstate New York say they have arrested a neighbor in a Thanksgiving murder of a  woman in her trailer home.

It happened in Hyde Park.  Police say the body of Laurie B. Ferguson, 67, was found inside her home in the Mobile Manor Home Park.

Police say they arrested Justin Curran, 36, for the murder.  Curran was found in Tampa by members of the New York State Police and the Hyde Park police with help from the U.S. Marshals office.

Ferguson's was located on Reservoir Road in the Town of Hyde Park (Staatsburg) in the late afternoon the day after the killing.

State Police had initially released a sketch of a person they wanted to interview in connection with the case.  Police said they had located and interviewed the man and said he was not connected with the case.

Police did not release details of a possible motive.
