Black Friday is known as the biggest consumer spending day of the year, but "Grey Thursday," might be taking its place soon.
Wal-Mart and Sears are two of the biggest stores that opened at 8 p.m. and Target opened their doors at 9 p.m.
No one wants to miss out on big holiday deals. For the extreme deal shoppers, earlier opening times means missing the holiday feast altogether. Others just bring an entourage to divide and conquer and come prepared with coupons and anything else they might need to get them through the checkout line faster.
"I have my list and that's basically what I wanted, what I need, and after that, if I see something else, if I really like it, then I talk to my wife and if she agrees, we can get it," said Sergio Mejia.
At midnight, Macy's, one of the major department stores in town will be opening their doors for black Friday shoppers.
"We're opening at midnight and we did it for the first time last year, per our customers' requests, and we weren't quite sure...and it was overwhelming success. Our customers just loved it," said Macy's General Manager Larry Rietz.
If waiting in line and dealing with massive crowds isn't your thing, exclusive Black Friday deals online are available and you don't even have to change out of your pajamas.
