Posted: Updated:

APD is searching for a man they say attacked and robbed a woman near East 4th Street and North I-35 on November 19.

Police say the woman was walking in the 400 block of I-35 along the east frontage road when the suspect exited a vehicle, assaulted her, pulled her to the ground before taking her personal property.

The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, estimated to be in his mid-20s and is between 5'10" to 6' tall. He has a medium thick muscular build with a corn-rowed hairstyle with sparse, short braids and yellowish, jaundice-looking brown eyes.

He was seen driving an older 1980s or 1990s model "boxy" style compact 4-door vehicle, possibly a Honda, Nissan or Toyota style sedan. It is grey or silver with rust spots.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police at 512-974-5092 or Crime Stoppers at 512-472-TIPS.
