Excitement is building across Central Texas as Formula One race weekend and related festivities descend upon the area.
Circuit gates opened at 7:30 Friday morning. Cars, trucks and carts could be seen shuttling people and equipment around as crews put the final touches on the track.
Getting to the track and around town may prove to be more of a challenge this weekend. Circuit of The Americas is asking ticket holders to add an hour of travel time to get to shuttle locations. Parking pass holders should anticipate at least an hour and a half wait.
