Willie Nelson signed copies of his new book "Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die" Thursday afternoon in downtown Austin.
Willie Nelson fans lined up at Book People downtown from as early as 6 a.m. to get Nelson's new book signed by Nelson himself.
The book, with a forward by fellow songwriter Kinky Friedman, gives fans a look into Nelson's life on the road.
Fans from as far as North Carolina traveled to Austin hoping for a glimpse of the musician.
Tickets cost $23 which is the price of the book. Nelson shook hands with each fan and personalized each book.
