Pets took center stage Saturday at the 17th annual Walk to Save Animals as families took a stroll around Tempe Town Lake.
They raised money for homeless animals of Arizona. People participated in the 2K or 5K and there were plenty of other activities too, like dog training advice, fly ball demonstrations and interacting with exotic animals.
Animals were also up for adoption from the Arizona Welfare League and the SPCA, Arizona's oldest and largest no-kill shelter.
