Austin school honors veterans

St. Gabriel's catholic school started putting out thousands of flags for veteran's day on Friday in an effort to honor veterans.

When they're all out, there will be 3,000 flags. The flags will honor service members who are currently living in Texas.

Each student will plant several flags, each flag represents about 600 service men and women.

On Monday they'll have a ceremony honoring those service members.
