Three people who fled from deputies after a traffic stop have been taken into custody.
Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of I-17 and Pioneer Road Wednesday night.
About 10 people bailed out of the vehicle and fled east into the desert near a neighborhood, MCSO spokesman Sgt. Brandon Jones said.
Deputies searched the area and located 3 suspects.
Residents in the neighborhood were asked to stay indoors until the search is completed. At least one of the subjects was found in a backyard.
