Deputies say a couple bound and gagged a 50-year-old man and beat him on Monday night.
The suspects, 30-year-old Samual Chambers and 28-year-old Tiffany Hill, bound and beat Hill's roommate.
According to deputies, Hill, and her boyfriend Chambers, came to the home the victim shared with Hill in the 3800 block of John L Avenue. Chambers started accusing the victim of having sexual relations with Hill but the victim denied his accusations.
The victim told deputies he was gagged, his hands and legs were bound and he was beaten with an expandable baton for several hours. Chambers allegedly threatened to kill him.
The couple left Tuesday morning with the victim's car and while they were gone, the victim was able to free himself from the gag and yell for help. Neighbors heard him, untied him and called 911.
The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries to one of his arms and head.
The couple returned to the home Tuesday night in the victim's car. Deputies said they yelled for the couple to come out and after receiving no response, they found the them hiding inside.
