SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -
An investigation has revealed that a husband shot his wife while she slept at their home near 104th Street and Cactus Road.
Scottsdale Police Sgt. Mark Clark said the couple's son found his mother and father dead after he woke to what he thought were gunshots on November 9.
Authorities later found that the husband, 58-year-old Daniel Peralta, killed his wife, 52-year-old Laura Peralta, while she was asleep. He then turned the gun on himself.
Police say the Peraltas were arguing the night before the shooting, but there was history of prior reports of domestic violence.
