On Friday Fayette County Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 7100 block of Vista Ranch Road, near Bastrop County. Deputies seized methamphetamine, five firearms and marijuana.
Deputies say four children also live at the residence but were not present during the search.
They arrested 33-year-old Aja Mindy Dodson of Smithville and 28-Matthew Hinton Ellis. Dodson was charged with possession of methamphetamine. Ellis was charged with possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of firearms by a felon.
Child Protective Services removed the children from the home temporary until the investigation is complete.
