Crews install Christmas tree at Zilker Park

The city of Austin is getting ready for the holiday festivities.

Austin Energy crews installed the 155-foot Zilker tree Friday in Zilker Park. It's the 46th consecutive year for the tree.

It's a bit early to put it up, but crews had to reserve a 75-ton bucket truck that reaches 170 feet up to properly install the tree.

Workers are also setting up for the Trail of Lights. It's making a return after being gone for two years due to budget constraints.
