The FOX 10 family is growing. Morning anchor Andrea Robinson gave birth to a beautiful little girl Thursday.
Little Caylee Gerrine wasn't due until Thanksgiving Day -- November 22. But she surprised us all.
Born November 1, Caylee weighed in at 5 pounds 14 ounces, and 19 inches long.
"Actually it was funny when she was here finally, it was 2:50 in the morning. She knows my schedule. She's been used to this. That's what time our alarm clock rings. It couldn't have been more perfect," Andrea said.
Chris and Andrea couldn't be happier. And it was actually big brother Carter who named the baby all on his own.
When Andrea was still pregnant, he referred to the baby as Caylee. The name stuck.
Her middle name, Gerrine, is a family name, passed down with each generation.
So far Carter is handling the change well.
"Carter first of all came in and goes oh hi Caylee, he says you are so tiny but as soon as he saw the present Caylee bought him, which is a big military plane that we had picked up, he said okay I need my airplane… he's really excited to have her I think."
Andrea looks fantastic. But don't let that fool you. This baby isn't letting her get a wink of sleep.
"Last night we partied a lot... she was up partying and now she will sleep all day I'm sure so that's the theme of being a newborn," laughed Andrea.
As you can see everyone is happy and healthy as they start this new chapter of life.
The plan was to head home today from the hospital. Andrea's grandma and aunt cleaned the whole house and did all the laundry.
And Caylee's room was already finished, so they are prepared as you can be for a newborn.
