Austin police are looking for a man who entered an east Austin pawn shop wearing a Halloween mask and shot a clerk.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. at the Cash America Pawn Shop located at Riverside Dr.
Employees told police that a masked man walked into the store, showed a gun and demanded money. He shot a female clerk in the arm.
She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The man made out with cash. Officers won't say how much. They did express their concern for the shot being fired.
"It's escalated a lot lately so we're obviously looking for this person," said APD Sgt. Joe Lucas. "We did an exhaustive search with helicopter and K9 and we don't know where he's at yet."
Other than the mask , the man was seen wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans.
