PHOENIX -
If you have a wedding dress that's collecting dust in storage, you might consider donating it to a great cause.
A wedding dress drive kicked off Thursday at Strut Bridal Salon in Phoenix.
All the donated dresses will be sold to benefit the non-profit group "Wish upon a Wedding."
The money raised will be used to hold weddings for couples facing serious illnesses.
The group just granted its 50th wish this weekend to a Chicago couple.
"What we're doing is accepting once loved, gently worn, never worn wedding dresses from the year 2000 and newer," says Ann Campeau, co-owner of Strut Bridal Salon.
If you know of an engaged couple that's facing medical challenges, you may want to let them know about "Wish upon a Wedding."
It could be a way to make their dream wedding come true.
The drive runs from November 1st to 25th at Strut Bridal Salon, 542 W. McDowell Road.
