Woman charged with attempted arson

Posted: Updated:

A 19-year-old woman has been charged after she started a small fire outside an apartment.

Police say a Brishae Arionne Williams got into an argument at a Halloween party on Oct. 27. Dressed up as a cat, Williams went to the victim's apartment, whom she had argued with, and kicked in the door. Williams sprayed the victim and her mother with lighter fluid and lit the exterior siding and window trim on fire.

Surveillance video from the apartment complex showed Williams walking onto the property and running from the scene a few moments later.

Williams has been charged with attempted arson, a second degree felony.
