With superstorm Sandy in the rearview mirror, the issue of disaster funding is on the forefront of people's minds.
President Obama paid a visit to the battered New Jersey shore on Wednesday, and promised that the federal government will be there for the long haul to help New Jersey in its recovery efforts.
In the past, some Republicans, including GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, have suggested that federal disaster funding should be handled by the states, and not the Federal Government.
FOX 7's Mike Warren spoke live Wednesday night with political analysts Harold Cook and Rob Johnson to talk about the Republican comments on disaster funding.
