SAN LUIS, Ariz. -
A woman was caught trying to smuggle 12 duck eggs into the United States at the Port of San Luis on Friday.
Customers and Border Protection officers said they found a dozen uncleared duck eggs nestled into the middle of a bag of clothes Maria Dolores De Arce Aguirre was carrying in the pedestrian lane.
The eggs were destroyed as part of port policy and Aguirre was fined $300.
