A car crash shut down a west Phoenix intersection overnight near 107th Avenue and Camelback.
Phoenix Police Sgt. Trent Crump said when the Isuzu Trooper and Honda CRV collided, the Honda caught fire.
The female driver of the Honda was extracted from the vehicle and transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. She suffered burns on over 70 percent of her body.
The Isuzu's female driver was also transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but police say speed may have been a factor.
