Instead of asking for gifts on their wedding day, an Austin
couple asked their guests to donate to charities that support research of two
diseases that hit close to home. Freddie and Mellenie Dixon requested that
friends and family make donations to charities that support prostate cancer and
sickle cell research.
On Saturday, Austin residents can participate in the ‘Dash
for Dads' charity event to raise awareness about prostate cancer, and money to
