MESA, Ariz. -
DNA led police to a man they believe broke into a home almost five years ago.
John Wyskochil was arrested Tuesday for allegedly breaking into a home in Jan. 2008.
Police accused Wyskochil of taking a homeowner's car keys and driving off with their car.
Officers collected evidence from the scene, including swabs of blood found inside the home.
Last month, a DNA match was made that linked the blood to Wyskochil.
He was arrested at him home after a brief stand off.
Police said Wyskochil admitted to breaking into the house but said he didn't steal anything.
