Conservative group's Mesa office vandalized overnight

MESA, Ariz. -

Someone threw a rock through the window of the FreedomWorks for America "Get Out the Vote" office in Mesa.

The window was broken sometime between midnight Saturday and Monday morning. Nothing inside the office was taken.

"We have a couple of laptop computers, a big screen TV and a lot of other valuable, easily transportable items in our office, but none of them were taken. It's hard to see how this could be anything other than a deliberate act," said Sam Stone, FreedomWorks for America field coordinator.

The conservative voting advocacy group supports Republican Jeff Flake for U.S. Senate. Flake is running against Democrat Richard Carmona, and it is a highly contested race.

A police report was filed on Monday. It's not known if anyone has been caught.

They've covered the damage with a campaign sign.
