FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities in northern Arizona say a Phoenix man is in custody in connection with burglaries and a vehicle theft in Oak Creek Canyon.

Coconino County Sheriff's officials say 30-year-old Ryan Travis Twyman was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Flagstaff after a short chase.

They say Twyman allegedly was driving a vehicle that was reported stolen from the Garland Lodge in Oak Creek Canyon on Tuesday morning.

Authorities also say Twyman allegedly was in possession of several firearms that reportedly were taken in burglaries at the lodge.

Sheriff's officials say multiple residences in the lodge's employee housing unit were burglarized as well as several vehicles belonging to employees and guests.

Jewelry, electronic devices and cash also were reported missing after the burglaries. Authorities didn't immediately know if Twyman has a lawyer yet.
