--LT rolls to another district win but loses yet another player to injury in RB Shaun Nixon.

2.Hendrickson (6-2, defeated Pflugerville 32-7)

--The Hawks have waited a lifetime for this match-up, and played that way in crushing its new 5A district foe and crosstown rival, thanks to 225 yards rushing from Samaje Perine.

3.Pflugerville (5-2, lost to Hendrickson 32-7)

--If Pville didn't consider Hendrickson a rival before Friday night, they do now. In their first-ever game with the Hawks, the Panthers were outscored 24-0 in the 2nd half of blowout loss.

4.Westwood (5-3, defeated Cedar Ridge 24-17)

--Warriors hold off Cedar Ridge despite 4th quarter rally.

5.Westlake (5-3, defeated Del Valle 31-9)

--Chaps continue to roll through district, and with a week off this Friday, have two weeks to prepare for district title showdown with Lake Travis.

--TWolves continue to roll after slow start to season.

3.Georgetown (7-0, defeated Cedar Creek 73-0)

--Eagles stay unbeaten against an overmatched first-year program in Cedar Creek.

4.Hays (6-1, defeated Schertz Clemens 42-7)

--Rebels stay in the hunt for district title after blowout win on the road.

5.Vista Ridge (6-1, lost to Leander 20-10)

--Rangers see Leander score 20 unanswered points, suffer first loss of the season.

Class 3A

1.La Grange (6-1, defeated Smithville 21-20)

--Leopards climb out of 14-0 hole, get 4th-quarter TD to win.

2.Giddings (6-1, lost to Gonzales 43-23)

--Buffs get run over by Gonzales RB Cecil Johnson for 256 yards and 5 touchdowns, lose first game of season in blowout fashion.

3.Liberty Hill (5-2, lost to Brownwood 32-18)

--Panthers give up two 4th quarter TD's to lose key district game at home.

4.Wimberley (4-3, defeated Geronimo Navarro 21-20)

--Texans' slip past Navarro with 4th-quarter TD.

5.Rockdale (4-4, defeated Madisonville 45-13)

--Tigers have now won two of three, but match-up with #1-ranked Navasota looms this Friday.

Class 2A/1A/others

1.Lexington (5-2, defeated UC Randolph 38-7)

--Eagles dominate on their way to 3rd-straight win.

2.Mason (7-0, defeated Ozona 43-6)

--Punchers defense has not allowed double digit points since September 7th.

3.St. Michael's (7-0, defeated CC Pope John Paul II 59-0)

--St. Michael's cruises to win after 52-point first half.

4.Thorndale (5-2, idle)

--Bulldogs take on Flatonia this Friday.

5.Lago Vista (4-3, defeated Marlin 41-10)

--Vikings turn close game in third quarter into a blowout by scoring games final 22 points.
