Wounded warriors compete in kayak national championships

On Friday in San Marcos wounded warriors gathered to take part in the kayak national championships.

The disabled military veterans competed in kayak polo. Playing in kayaks allows them to compete directly with people who aren't disabled.

One of the competitors, August O'Neil, joined FOX 7 to talk about the event.
