Body found in Phoenix canal

Crews made a disturbing discovery in the west valley Tuesday.

A body was found in a canal near 91st Avenue and McDowell Tuesday morning.

It's not known if the person was a victim of foul play or drowned.

The victim is an white or Hispanic older adult male. The medical examiner is working to determine identity and cause of death.
