A man died after being injured during a hit and run near 67th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road early Saturday morning.
Police said a suspect driving a Dodge Charger tried to pass a Dodge Caravan but ended up hitting it from behind.
A passenger in the Charger wasn't wearing a seatbelt and had serious injuries. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
The driver and two passengers in the van have non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Charger immediately fled the scene but was found by officers later.
Police said they think alcohol played a role in the collision. Charges for the suspect are pending his release from a hospital.
The victims haven't been identified yet.
