Friday, Governor Jan Brewer signed a Declaration of Emergency to allow Greenlee County to recover from recent storm damage and flooding.
From September 6 through 12th, a series of heavy rainstorms hit southern Greenlee County. Buildings were damaged and large sections of a main road in the town of Duncan were eroded.
The declaration will release $100,000 from the general fund to assist in repairing and rebuilding.
