
Austin firefighters responded to the scene of a two-alarm structure fire in the 1700 block of Woodward St. on Wednesday morning.
According to the Austin Fire Department, the fire began just before 6:00 a.m. By the time firefighters arrived at the apartment complex, smoke was seen billowing out of the top of the building, and the fire was quickly upgraded to two alarms.
Two units sustained fire damage, and two others had smoke and water damage, according to AFD.
The fire forced the evacuation of between 10 and 15 residents. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire. There were no reported injuries.
