2 hospitalized after head-on collision in Phoenix

Two people have been taken to the hospital following a head-on collision in west Phoenix.

It happened about 7:30 p.m. at 42nd Ave and Dunlap.

Police say that a Dodge Charger was headed westbound and a Honda passenger car was going eastbound.

For an unknown reason, the Honda car crossed the center line and was hit head-on by the Dodge.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital. Their injuries are considered non life-threatening.
