A pioneer in the Title 9 Movement was recognized Friday at the Frank Erwin Center.
A statue of Hall of Fame Basketball Coach Jody Conradt was unveiled on the concourse
The seven foot- 600 pound bronze statue of Jody Conradt was sculpted by Brian Hanlon, official sculptor of the Naismith Hall of Fame, depicts Conradt flashing the ‘Hook em Horns' sign which she did for 31 years as women's Basketball Coach and nine years as women's Athletic Director.
The statue recognizes Conradt's service to the university as a teacher, coach, mentor and inspiration to thousands of young women thru education and sports.
