Fire broke out at the Still Forest Volunteer Fire Department Tuesday afternoon.
Fire fighters told FOX 7 that the fire started in one of the buildings at the fire station.
Several agencies responded to help knock down the flames and assist in the wash up. Crews with blue bonnet volunteer fire department, Bastrop, Five-Points and Travis County came to help.
Most of the damage was to secondary equipment. The station's engines and water trucks were not damaged.
This afternoon's blaze will not hamper the department if they are needed in case a fire breaks out.
