
A 17-year-old was arrested after police say the suspect made a terroristic threat against New Braunfels High School on Facebook.
According to Police, at approximately 10:45 a.m. the department was notified that a 17-year-old New Braunfels High School student posted a threat that referenced "shooting up" the school on Facebook.
New Braunfels High School was placed on lock down and officers were stationed at the school as a security measure.
The suspect was located and detained at the Comal County Courthouse. After an interview with police the teen was arrested and charged with terroristic threat, a third degree felony.
Police have not released the suspect's name at this time.
