Posted: Updated:

Austin Police have charged a man after two women said he forced them into prostitution, according to court paperwork.

On Sept. 25 Officers responded to a disturbance at the Ramada Inn located in the 9000 block of I-35, where they met with a 24-year-old woman who claims she and 17-year-old girl were being forced into prostitution by 34-year-old Chris Edward Dancer.

The woman told Police she met Dancer two weeks ago in Killeen. She said he offered to find her a way home but she eventually realized he wanted her to prostitute for him.

Both victims told police Dancer was controlling, intimidating and would beat them. He also set up meetings with their clients. The victims told police they saw clients in Killeen, San Antonio and in Austin.

Chris Dancer has been charged with two counts of compelling prostitution, a first degree felony.
