For the first time since a district loss to Cedar Park in 2010, the Lake Travis Cavaliers have lost a football game.
The number-one team in Class 5A made a bid for a dramatic come-from-behind win, but could not get key defensive stops late as A&M Consolidated pulled the upset at LTISD Athletic Complex, 30-28.
This is Lake Travis' first loss as a 5A school. The Cavs have now lost only three games since the beginning of the 2008 season. All three of those losses have come at home.
